Infoblox appliances chosen by UK law firm

(Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) UK-based international commercial law firm Stephenson Harwood is now using Infoblox appliances to run internal and external domain name resolution (DNS), IP address assignment (DHCP) and IP address management (IPAM), the provider of platforms for core network services announced on Monday.

No financial details were disclosed.

According to the company, the law firm purchased 16 appliances including Infoblox-250's, -550's and -1050's to be used in the datacentre and worldwide branch offices. The appliances combine simplicity with advanced distributed database technology to control, automate and simplify delivery and management of core network services, including DNS, DHCP and IPAM.

In addition, Stephenson Harwood has become the first law firm to purchase the Infoblox PortIQ appliance, which can identify the physical port associated with every connected device and get reports on network port utilisation.
