C-COM Launches Portable Satellite Antenna Channel on TMCnet
TMCnet News
(Norwalk, Conn. – Sept. 15, 2009) – Technology Marketing Corporation today announced that the Portable Satellite Antenna channel, sponsored by C-COM ( News - Alert) Satellite Systems, has been launched as the newest addition to the TMCnet channel program.
The Portable Satellite Antenna channel involves the development and deployment of mobile satellite-based technology for the delivery of two-way high-speed Internet services into vehicles or other mobile structures.
C-COM, a leader in those areas, has developed a proprietary mobile self-pointing antenna system which allows the delivery of high-speed satellite based Internet services into mobile environments. The company’s “iNetVu” brand mobile units, which come in eight different sizes and interface with a large number of readily available satellite modems, mount easily on top of vehicles or inside transportable platforms.
The channel will address developing satellite products, including how the technology is bolstering efforts to deliver broadband services, and what kinds of activity companies such as C-COM are seeing in various vertical markets, industries and geographical areas.
TMCnet’s channels are micro-targeted information portals where readers can find topic-specific news, articles, feature stories and product reviews. TMCnet has over 100 channels covering important topics in the IP Communications, VoIP, IP Telephony, CRM, Call Center and Information Technology industries.
“C-COM is pleased to join forces with TMC ( News - Alert), the leader of communications and technology media,” said Dr. Leslie Klein, president and CEO of C-COM. “Taking advantage of TMCnet’s credibility and expertise in driving traffic will reinforce our branding and further distinguish C-COM as a Portable Satellite Antenna market leader.”
Established in 1997, C-COM is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The company’s antenna system can be activated with the simple push of a button or with click of the mouse. Once activated, it deploys automatically in a few minutes, locks on to the selected satellite and delivers broadband Internet access, VoIP and Video services anywhere in the world.
“TMCnet welcomes C-COM’s Portable Satellite Antenna channel into our program,” said Dave Rodriguez ( News - Alert), president of TMC. “C-COM is a well-respected Portable Satellite Antenna company that shares our vision in the advancement of new technologies. The TMCnet channel program is a community-building vehicle assisting our partners in building their brand, while contributing to the vast array of valuable content which drives traffic to TMCnet, the most-visited communications and technology Web site in the world.”
TMCnet is the leader in the communications and technology media space, boasting over 10 million unique visitors and 300 million page views annually.
