Amba Research Chooses Avistar Desktop Videoconferencing, Joins Avistar Network

Avistar Communications, a provider of unified visual communications, announced that Amba Research, a supplier of investment research support services to the capital markets industry, has selected Avistar C3 Desktop videoconferencing and has joined Avistar's Securities Community Network.
Launched in 2008, Avistar's Securities Community Network connects financial services professionals using visual communications technology, providing instantaneous and ubiquitous desktop videoconferencing without the need for costly hardware and infrastructure.
Amba's clients include 6 of the top 15 asset managers and 18 of the top 25 investment banks. These firms use Amba's support for a wide range of equity, fixed income and quantitative research. Amba's staff of more than 400 qualified analysts helps clients gain performance and cost leverage in evaluating ideas, expanding sector/stock coverage, company analysis and in business support areas such as fund marketing.
