Delta Apparel Lowers Q3 Outlook, Revises FY Guidance - Down 9%

Delta Apparel (DLA) guides for Q3 revenue of $75 mln and expects a loss per share of $0.05 to $0.07, including $0.07 per share of textile restructuring charges. The Reuters Estimates GAAP view is for EPS of $0.26.
These restructuring costs are expected to be the final charges relating to the co.'s previously announced textile restructuring plan. The co. previously issued prior Q3 revenue expectations of $84 mln to $88 mln and EPS of $0.25 to $0.29.
For FY08, revenues are now seen at $305 mln to $315 mln and loss per share from $0.10 to $0.16, including $0.39 per share of textile restructuring-related charges. The Street view is for EPS of $0.68 on sales of $327.3 mln.
