LG Electronics records 310,000 Viewty sales in Europe(Telecomworldwire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) LG Electronics (LG), an electronics products manufacturer, has revealed that its LG Viewty camera phone, model LG-KU990, has recorded sales of over 310,000 units since it was introduced to the European market. LG said the handset, which features a five megapixel camera, has experienced sales of around 6,300 units per day since entering European markets such as the UK, France and Germany. It claimed the figure exceeds the initial records of the company's earlier LG Chocolate and LG Shine models, comparing with the same period. The LG Viewty also features an advanced, full-LCD touch screen and camera features which allow users to take high quality images and edit and image share. According to LG, sales of LG Viewty are expected to continue to grow around the world, with the product launched into the Asian and Middle East markets.
