IP Infusion Showcases Metro Ethernet Interoperability at MPLS2007 International Conference

(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) SAN JOSE, CA, December 5 / MARKET WIRE/ --

IP
Infusion, an ACCESS Company and the provider of the intelligent
networking software platform ZebOS
for enhanced IP and Ethernet services, today announced the successful
completion of the Fall 2007 Ethernet OAM testing by Isocore in Reston, VA.
Major router and switch vendors and test equipment suppliers participated
in the testing, which focused primarily on the features aimed at helping
service providers achieve more control of network resources while deploying
triple play services.

"IP Infusion's participation in Isocore's leading-edge code testing is
indicative of its commitment to quality software releases in the future,"
said Dr. Bijan Jabbari, President of Isocore. "We are delighted to see that
IP Infusion takes part in this unique industry gathering with new
capabilities to help propel the next generation networking."

As befits the ascent of Ethernet and MPLS in provider networks, the
Ethernet OAM testing included the evaluation of connectivity fault
management (IEEE 802.1ag) and Ethernet EFM (802.3ah) across a carrier
Ethernet network. The test network was built using a common MPLS core,
thereby demonstrating MPLS as a universal packet technology. The testing
further evaluated the interoperability of implementations supporting
multi-segment Pseudo-wires (MS-PW) that extend beyond one packet-switched
network or domain, thereby demonstrating the inter-carrier capabilities of
the network during the test.

"We are very pleased to have successfully tested Ethernet OAM functionality
in the ZebOS platform alongside many other leading network equipment
manufacturers," said Koichi Narasaki, president and CEO, IP Infusion and
executive officer of ACCESS CO., LTD.

"We continue to raise the bar on providing pre-tested networking
functionality so that our customers can focus on adding their own value; in
this case, we have advanced the degree of Metro Ethernet functionality
available from an independent software vendor."

Vendors participating in the Isocore testing included Agilent,
Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco Systems, Foundry Networks, IXIA, IP Infusion
(independently operated subsidiary of ACCESS Co., Ltd.), Juniper Networks,
and Redback Networks.
