Amazon.com Editors Name ``The iPhone(R) Book'' the Best In 2007
TAMPA, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Today, Amazon.com posted its Best Books for 2007 listings, and in the Best Books of 2007 Top 10 Editors' Picks: Computers & Internet category, The iPhone(R) Book - co-authored by Scott Kelby and Terry White - took the #1 spot. Additionally, Scott's The Adobe(R) Photoshop(R) Lightroom(R) Book for Digital Photographers and The Adobe(R) Photoshop(R) CS3 Book for Digital Photographers both found themselves on the Best Books for 2007 in the Customers' Favorites: Computers & Internet list, ranked at #2 and #4 respectively.
In his blog, Scott said the following of the honor, "A sincere thanks goes to the editors at Amazon.com for making The iPhone Book their #1 pick. Terry and I are truly honored!" The author continues, "My heartfelt thanks to all my readers who bought my books this year, and helped me to keep my job as book author for another year. Every author puts a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into their books, and there's nothing more rewarding than to be able to reach and teach as many people as possible. I can't thank you all enough for your continued support, and for helping to make this author's dreams come true. I am truly humbled."
The iPhone Book - written in the same humorous, easygoing style as Scott's other best-selling "show-me-how-to-do-it" books, The Digital Photography Book and The iPod Book - makes the Apple(R) iPhone simple to learn and understand. The book begins by walking through the basics of iPhone use, and then goes into more advanced operations such as the innovative Internet features, using the new iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, and much more. Each page covers just one topic so that finding a specific subject or tutorial is quick and easy, and full-color photos on each page show exactly how everything works.
All three honored books were published by Peachpit Press, and are currently available on Amazon.com, the Barnes & Noble website, and on Kelbytraining.com. Cover price for The iPod Book is $21.95, cover price for The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book for Digital Photographers is $39.99, and cover price for The Adobe Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers is $49.99.
