Warner Bros. Pictures Chooses Vibes Media to Help 'Nancy Drew' Fans 'Get a Clue'

CHICAGO --(Business Wire)-- Warner Bros. Pictures has partnered with Vibes Media, a leading provider of interactive text message and mobile content marketing programs, to launch a pair of interactive mobile programs to help fans stay connected to the upcoming Warner Bros.' movie presentation "Nancy Drew," which debuts in theaters nationwide on June 15.

The mobile campaigns officially launch today and are designed to seamlessly integrate with Warner Bros.' multi-faceted marketing effort for the film. The Nancy Drew collaboration marks the third such mobile project Vibes has undertaken for Warner Bros., following successful programs in 2006 for "Beerfest" and "Poseidon."

The programs include a web-based "Nancy Drew Calls You" feature, where fans can send customized voice messages from the film's star, Emma Roberts, to friends on their cell or home phones, and a text-based "Nancy Drew Get a Clue Text Game" fans can play anywhere using their cell phones.

Available through official film web sites www.nancydrewmovie.com and www.nancydrewcallsyou.com, the "Nancy Drew Calls You" program leverages interactive voice response (IVR) technology to let Nancy Drew fans send voice messages to their friends' cell or home phones ... using the star's actual voice! Using a drop-down menu, users create a customized message by choosing a fashion style, favorite activity, favorite magazine, favorite web community, personality traits, music preferences and more. "Nancy" then unravels the personality "clues" to deliver a unique voice message to the recipient.

The text-based "Nancy Drew Get a Clue Text Game" program lets users stay connected with the movie by playing detective using the web and their cell phones. After logging on to the film's web site, Nancy Drew "wannabes" anywhere can watch a movie trailer and sift clues that will be helpful in the trivia game. They activate the game by texting "PLAY" to 73807 and answering a series of questions based on the trailer.

"The movie experience has been steadily moving beyond the traditional on-screen film presentation to satisfying fans' desire to dive deeper into their favorite characters, plots and off-screen story lines," said Jack Philbin, president and co-founder of Vibes Media. "Warner Bros. continues to be at the forefront of seeking out creative ways for movie fans to move beyond viewing to a one-on-one interaction with their favorite movies and stars. We're proud to continue our partnership with such a creative industry leader and help fans connect with one of the most popular teen sleuths of all time, Nancy Drew."
