Aug 25 (Interfax) - Fourteen percent of the Russian population will have incomes below the subsistence level in 2007, Deputy Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told a Friday session of the country's trilateral commission for social and labor relations. A total of 18.4% of Russian citizens had incomes below the subsistence level in 2005, he said. Next year the authorities plan to raise the bonuses paid to persons earning a candidate of science degree to 3,000 rubles and to 7,000rubles for those earning a doctor of science degree, Siluanov said.
