IP Infusion to Be Acquired by ACCESSSAN JOSE, Calif. and TOKYO, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- IP Infusion Inc., a leading provider of intelligent networking software for enhanced IP services, announced today that it has agreed to be acquired by ACCESS Co., Ltd., , a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies. IP Infusion will become a wholly owned subsidiary of ACCESS after the completion of the acquisition, which is scheduled to close in early March, subject to approval by IP Infusion's shareholders. Savvian LLC acted as financial advisor to IP Infusion, while Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. advised ACCESS on the transaction. Combining the two companies' strengths -- IP Infusion's intelligent networking software for IP services and ACCESS' mobile content delivery/Internet access technologies -- will allow ACCESS to extend its networking leadership and continue to aggressively provide new platforms for ubiquitous connectivity based on home gateways, home broadband, and 3G mobile phones.
