Affiliated Computer Services Employees Sending Mixed Signals in New Vault Employee Surveys
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- March 29, 2005 -- Affiliated Computer Services (NYSE: ACS) employees are sending mixed signals on their company's future, New York research firm Vault has found in new employee surveys. The survey results, published today, can be accessed on Vault.com.
Vault's employee surveys give investors and jobseekers insight into the company's business operations.
Says a former division workforce manager, "The company is so bottom line oriented that it completely obscures any vision of directional planning. We never had a planning meeting where any issue was discussed that could effect the company past six months. All issues are dealt with on an as needed basis. ACS will cease being a US company within the next two years. For every one job that is created in the Unites States, eleven jobs are created in India or Mexico."

A former human resources manager adds, "Good outlook in terms of profits. As an investor, you would appreciate the steady return. ACS has a goal of "20/20" - 20% growth and 20% profits - each year. ACS is ruthless about its bottom-line. Employees are acquired, used and disposed."
