Mercury Payment Systems Launches Enhanced Dial-up Processing; New Service Offers Free Enhancements


DURANGO, Colo. --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 8, 2005 -- Mercury Payment Systems today announced the launch of a new dial-up payment processing solution that adds value for merchants with free integrated features such as gift card processing.

Now merchants with electronic cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems, who process transactions using a dial-up connection, are eligible for Mercury's integrated technology with free enhancements. Besides gift card processing, these enhancements include certified 24/7 technical support and Web reporting for immediate access to all transaction data -- features that previously were available only with Mercury's Internet protocol (IP) solution.



This new platform was developed to extend affordable, easy and reliable payment processing to merchants using dial-up connections. Mercury is known for its IP technology, which is integrated into the POS system for fast two-second payment processing.
