United Keys Announces Formation and Seed Investment; Company To Market Patented Technology that Dynamically Changes Key Identification on Input Devices Such as Keyboards, Phones

SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Feb. 7, 2005 -- United Keys, Inc. announced today its recent formation and seed investment of $500,000 from Xandria, Ltd., an investment firm located in Spain.

United Keys is introducing to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) a unique and patented technology that dynamically changes the identification of keys on input devices such as keyboards or phones. For example, an English PC keyboard could be changed to a Chinese keyboard with one mouse-click, or a call center could equally easily create custom keyboard layouts for individual telemarketers.

"Command clutter and complexity is becoming a user interface problem," said Ronald Brown, CEO of United Keys. "The applications for United Keys technology are vast -- with logical, near-term opportunities in both consumer and industrial markets."

United Keys has assembled a strong management team with heavy experience in marketing, sales, design, software, and engineering. Key members of the team are CEO Ronald Brown, previously president of eFax.com; Valdi Ivancic, a Swedish inventor and entrepreneur; and David Everett, previously senior vice president of sales at Selectron Corporation. The company is located in San Jose, California.
