K. Hovnanian and Cleveland Cavaliers Create the ``Dream'' Team

CANTON, Ohio --(Business Wire)-- Nov. 23, 2004 -- In the past, the only common factor between a home and the game of basketball was the garage the hoop is nailed to. That changes this season as K. Hovnanian Homes and the Cleveland Cavaliers join together to give one lucky fan the keys to a new home.



Ohio residents are eligible to vote online for features that contribute to designing a K. Hovnanian Dream Home in the "Design and Win Home Giveaway" contest. Beginning with their favorite home and floor plan, they can vote on their dream kitchen, desired luxury owner's suite bath and versatile lighting package to create their very own dream home.

"Every family enjoys the excitement of designing their dream home as much as fans enjoy seeing the Cavaliers hit a three-point basket," said Fran Saltalamacchia, president of K. Hovnanian's Ohio Division. "While not everybody can run down court with star forward LeBron James, everybody can go online and design their dream home and, perhaps, win that home. This is an opportunity to have some fun, enjoy the excitement and learn about how easy it is to make a dream home your real home."



Throughout the season, voters choose features of their dream home online at www.clevelandcavaliers.com. On Dec. 17, voters will have the chance to meet Eric Snow, who plays guard for the Cavaliers, at K. Hovnanian's Medina Sales Office at 1180 Median Road (Route 18) in Medina. Refreshments will be available and some lucky visitors will win prizes.

Voting on the features ends April 1. On April 19, 10 finalists will join the Cleveland Cavaliers and K. Hovnanian Homes for Fan Appreciation Night at the Gund Arena. One finalist will win the opportunity to build the Dream Home they designed.

Voters can register online at www.clevelandcavaliers.com or mail a 3x5 index with their name, address, city, state, phone number, email address and date of birth to Cavaliers/K. Hovnanian Home Giveaway; 1 Center Court; Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
