New Product Release -- Entellium Unveils Value, Usability and Freedom of Choice in a CRM Package

SEATTLE --(Business Wire)-- Aug. 31, 2004 -- Entellium eSalesForce comes packed with personalization features for the graphical user interface as well as built-in intelligence, ease of use and workflow to suit businesses large and small. Company sets target to be No. 1 in value and usability.

Entellium (www.entellium.com), the leader in providing 2nd Generation hosted CRM (Customer Relationship Management), today announced the immediate availability of its latest product version that underpins the company's commitment to providing customers with the easiest to use and best value CRM solutions on the market wrapped in a unique offering that gives customers complete control over all aspects of the user interface at the front-end and customization of business rules and processes at the back-end.

In a series of industry firsts the new release includes a number of features aimed at changing the user experience in CRM:

(1) Customers have the freedom to choose and configure all aspects of their interface including color schemes, fonts, icons and more at both a company and individual user level.

(2) A powerful new navigation menu that puts customers only one click away from their key customer data and tasks and gets rid of "tab fatigue", that forces users to click through tab-after-tab to get to what they want.

(3) Extensions to the My*entellium portal that provides My*entellium subscribers complete access to key customer data without the need to purchase a full subscription of the company's Entellium eSalesForce and Entellium eCustomerCenter applications, further lowering the total cost of ownership for users and increasing transparent access to customer data for executive management.

Other unique features in this release that distinguish Entellium from 1st generation hosted CRM competitors include:

-- unlimited field customization

-- user definable report filters

-- user definable listing and sorting tables

-- support for an unlimited amount of user-customized web forms

-- pre-packaged email marketing within the sales automation tool,

-- updated entelliCOM web services

-- updates to the Entellium workflow engine at the heart of the integrated suite of products.

Paul Johnston, Chief Executive Officer commented, "This release is an integral part of our vision to deliver to our customers the freedom to create their own applications, including complete customization. Our customers now have the ability to customize their user interface, their database, their business processes and how they integrate our application with their existing applications. You need all of these layers for complete customization and in releasing this version users will benefit from our product being a better fit to their needs at an unmatched price point.

"We have a passion for making CRM a rewarding experience that isn't over-complicated for our customers. We are pushing ahead aggressively with our 2nd generation hosted offering and this release establishes a future platform for us to extend our lead in this area. Potential CRM customers, large and small, truly can have deep functionality with great value for their money and no compromise."

Details of some of the new features announced today:

User Interface Personalization

Visually the stand-out product feature is user interface screen personalization. This feature enables companies to customize their Entellium user interface to meet their brand guidelines by selecting virtually any color for lines, tabs, text, background and foreground colors, as well as selecting any font, choosing from a library of icons, and installing a company logo -- essentially, the entire interface is easily customizable.

The personalization capability can be extended (if the customer's system administrator chooses) to each individual user within the company enabling individual preference to extend to the desktop.

What would you like to do? Tool

Entellium, already distinguished by the simplicity of its user interface, has extended its usability advantage by creating a one-click navigation tool known as the What would you like to do? menu. The tool eliminates the need to click on multiple tabs and drop down menus to get to where you want to be, which results in "tab fatigue" as is the case with most competitive software applications.

What would you like to do? is a one-click navigation tool that provides easy access to the features used most by sales and customer service professionals. What would you like to do? will improve user productivity dramatically by reducing training times and increasing user adoption by putting information within one-click.

My*entellium is extended

My*entellium has been further extended to provide My*entellium subscribers greater access to sales and customer service information that was previously only available to full subscribers of the Entellium eSalesForce and Entellium eCustomerCenter applications. Now My*entellium users can view all customer information across all sales, customer service and marketing databases giving them real-time insight into the sales cycle, service incidents, leads, contacts, contracts, past sales history, forecasting and collaborative features such as group calendars, workflow tasking and document libraries.

At a Cost of just $9.95 per user per month. My*entellium substantially reduces the total cost of ownership for customers and provides customers with the choice to provide full subscriber licenses to power users, and My*entellium access to executives, finance, and administrative staff making it possible to keep everyone involved in customer facing processes without requiring a large CRM budget.

Overview of some of the other features announced today:

-- Unlimited field customization - users can add an unlimited number of fields to databases that track Contacts, Companies, Opportunities, Leads, and Customer Incidents. This makes it easier for customers to deploy applications specific to their individual needs and business processes.

-- User definable views - users can now decide how information they are searching and analyzing is displayed and sorted on their screens. This makes it easier for customers to work with data because it is displayed and described in the format and language they are used to.

-- Support for an unlimited number of user customized web forms -- users can design and define an unlimited number of HTML forms that can be deployed on web sites, intranets or extranets to make it possible for customers, partners or staff to interact with the CRM application easily and outside of the application. Simple example applications include capturing "leads" from a web site, but the web forms can also be used to build more custom applications such as surveys or detailed customer support requests. This feature also makes it easier for users to build custom access points to the application for partners and customers without the need for programming.

-- User definable report filters - in addition to pre-defined reports and generic report filters already provided by the application, users can now build their own filters to report on and analyze information. By providing users with the ability to choose their own report filters and deploy them across the application, users have the ability to report on any field of information without needing to build custom reports, or exporting information into tools like Excel(R) for further filtering. Reports can also be emailed directly to anyone, even non-entellium users.

-- Pre-packaged email marketing within the sales automation tool - users of Entellium eSalesForce can now send emails directly to an individual Contact, a customized List of Contacts, or saved Lists of Contacts. Users can also choose from a list of pre-defined or customized email templates, and then track the responses throughout the sales process - all from within Entellium. This feature delivers productivity gains, since users don't have to leave the application to communicate with suspects, prospects and customers and saves money as customers don't need to purchase a separate e-marketing application.

-- Updated entelliCOM web services - our integration toolkit, EntelliCOM, has been updated to add additional capabilities to seamlessly integrate Entellium applications with 3rd-party applications. Customers and partners can build their own CRM applications or add-ons using entelliCOM. Examples of out-of-the-box integration include seamless links to Excel(R) and QuickBooks(R).

-- Updates to the Entellium workflow engine - the core workflow engine at the heart of Entellium's applications has been enhanced to support pre-defined workflow templates for specific industries or workflow applications. This makes on-demand business process deployments possible and will save customers time and money in reduced customization time.

Pricing

Entellium users pay only for the modules they subscribe to on a monthly basis, with fees ranging from $9.95 for My*entellium to $45 for eSalesForce or $59 for the full Entellium CRM suite, compared to upwards of $125 from other vendors with comparable features.
