Ukrainian mobile carrier chooses ComArch

ComArch, a global software house and systems integrator was selected by UMC, the largest wireless operator in Ukraine to provide and implement an integrated system of Revenue Assurance. The 4,8 mln Euro contract was signed by ComArch Software AG, a ComArch German Subsidiary.

ComArch systems implemented at UMC, Ukrainian Mobile Communications, include module of OSS platform InsightNet Revenue Assurance and module of ComArch flagship TYTAN Billing platform TYTAN Data Processing Server.

InsightNet functionalities will allow for the analysis of data connected with revenue assurance, monitoring of telecommunications infrastructure and dissemination of new services. ComArch TYTAN DPS will enable UMC to introduce innovative tariffication mechanisms, which are necessary to mould precise valuation models in new-generation networks as well as provision and accounting for advanced services.

Apart from implementing own systems ComArch will also integrate solutions of English and Danish software houses.

"We are proud that UMC chose ComArch to implement systems that will directly support its business operations. Earlier this year we signed a contract with a leading mobile carrier in Belarus and both of them leverage our strong position in Eastern Europe and prove the competitiveness of ComArch solutions within the telecommunication wireless market" - said Christophe Debou, VP, ComArch, Telecommunications Business Unit.
