Zoho Serves 300K Customers
PLEASANTON, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- The Zoho mission of simplifying life for people who work online has reached over 300,000 customers, the company announced today.
"Zoho is growing faster than ever, which tells me we're doing a good job serving our customers," said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist. "It took us 12 months to reach our first 100,000 customers, another six months to reach our next 100,000 customers. Now, we've attracted another 100,000 in four months. We owe our customers a big 'thank you' for letting us serve them."
Zoho customer service is founded on principles outlined by Mahatma Gandhi:
A customer is the most important visitor on our premises.
He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him.
He is not an interruption in our work - he is the purpose of it.
We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour
by giving us the opportunity to serve him.
Continued Vegesna, "We don't measure our success by the number of customers. We measure it by the number of customers who are happy. If you search 'Zoho Customer Service' on Google, you'll see what we mean."
Zoho Re-invents Customer Service
"We know a speaker who is converting his CRM database to Zoho.com. He is paying Zoho NOTHING for this remarkable program -- and even so, their customer service department is helping him convert his SalesForce.com contacts and his Outlook contacts into their program. Look-out below, offline companies. We thought that companies like GoDaddy, Zoho and Expedia were changing the face of business by offering low prices, convenience and inventive products and services. Think again. Companies like these are completely re-inventing the customer service experience, too." Michael Benidt and Sheryl Kay, Hidden Business Treasures
"I sent Zoho support team an email with a simple question. The next day, I received several paragraphs from a guy who repeatedly used my first name, included a personal anecdote related to my inquiry, and offered help that I didn't even ask for. I was torn between asking him to marry me, and asking him if Zoho would grant me three wishes...I'm not someone who likes to tout products or services...But I'm touting Zoho. Best customer service ever. Online or off." Narduar, Narduar Blogspot
"I made a minor post the other day suggesting Zoho Polls for companies wanting to get feedback from their customers. Almost immediately I received a comment from someone at Zoho thanking me for suggesting their company. That was nice... and kind of unusual... Let's face it -- my blog isn't anywhere near the top of the charts yet, but the Zoho staff noticed and took action right away. That's impressive. That's unique...It means a lot to a blogger, and I'm sure they understand that...When is the last time that Microsoft commented on YOUR blog? Don't hold your breath. What's sad is it doesn't have to be that way. They surely have the resources to go the extra mile, probably to the tune of at least 100 support staffers to every 1 Zoho staffer. (Just a guess). All-in-all these guys are to be commended. I know I wouldn't be writing this if their software wasn't fairly exceptional as well, but it just excites me to see that these guys haven't stopped at just having great products. They appear to me to be attempting to be a great company." Tony Valle, Small Business Radio
