Zentera Systems to Present CoIP Streaming™ Integration with Security Engines at Interop 2016

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Zentera Systems, Inc., the leader in cross-datacenter security and networking, today announced its latest security enhancement, CoIP Streaming, which enables third-party security engines to integrate seamlessly with the company's CoIP™ security and networking platform. CoIP Streaming addresses the ever-increasing security requirements for enterprise remote computing in the cloud.

CoIP Streaming provides the CoIP™ secure network platform with additional layers of security—defense-in-depth—that include active (inline) flow and passive (tap) flow capabilities. It uniquely enables existing enterprise on-premise and cloud datacenter security measures to be extended to remote cloud endpoints. CoIP Streaming will be shown live next week at Booth 645 in Interop Las Vegas 2016's Expo, May 4-5.

Interop Las Vegas brings content, community, and commerce into one place, open for everyone and uncommitted to only one point of view. Interop is innovation, networking, interoperability and critical infrastructure essential to technology innovation. Interop provides independent, face-to-face education and practical insight on core IT infrastructure and the technologies that hang off the network.

"With CoIP Streaming, Zentera supplies a critical missing piece for the emering cloud and cross-domain ecosystem," said Dr. Jaushin Lee, CEO and Founder of Zentera. "Now, enterprises can confidently adapt production workloads flexibly across sites, datacenters and remote clouds while continuing to use their existing highly effective and powerful streaming-based security measures."

The security streaming capability is in addition to the CoIP's platform existing enterprise-grade security. CoIP provides network integrity enforcement and cloud application interlock as well as east-west packet filtering. Furthermore, it enforces centralized control policy for security and routing.  CoIP is a cross-domain, cross-datacenter, cross-cloud virtual overlay network, connecting and protecting a company's compute resources while shielding workloads and computing environments on remote cloud endpoints.

"Combating security threats in the enterprise is an ongoing challenge.  CoIP Streaming is the logical next step in this effort," added Rebecca Bace, cybersecurity expert and CEO of Infidel, Inc., a security advisory firm. "Zentera is enabling enterprises to migrate towards cloud and hybrid environments with minimal disruption to their legacy security systems."
