Xirrus Teams with Wireless LAN Source for Increased Penetration of the United Kingdom Market with Wins at Landmark Information Group and the Farnborough Aerodrome
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Xirrus, Inc., the only Wi-Fi "Power-Play" that can replace Ethernet workgroup switches with Wi-Fi as the primary network connection, announced today its partnership with a leading Wi-Fi partner in the United Kingdom coupled with several significant wins that serve as a wake-up call that traditional Wi-Fi is no longer sufficient for leading enterprises in the United Kingdom market.

The Farnborough Aerodrome is home to both the FIVE (Farnborough International Venue and Events) a permanent events venue and, of course, the world's largest temporary event, the Farnborough International Airshow. Wireless LAN Source were appointed as the official communications provider for the 2008, 2010 and 2012 airshows as well as providing communications on an ongoing basis for the FIVE venue.
