WorkForce Software: Vision 2015 Set for April [Professional Services Close - Up]

(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WorkForce Software released the date and location of Vision 2015, its upcoming user conference.

According to a release from the Company, Vision has become one of the premier workforce management conferences in the world. Spanning four days and bringing together workforce management professionals from dozens of industries, the event is one of the largest of its kind.

Vision 2015 will be held April 19 - 22, 2015 at the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa in Henderson, Nevada, easily accessible from McCarran International Airport. Attendees will benefit from three full days of educational sessions and material covering each aspect of workforce management, including timekeeping, attendance tracking, scheduling and leave management. The agenda also includes ample networking opportunities, which are a central draw for attendees to the world's largest gathering of EmpCenter clients.

"Networking with fellow users at past Vision conferences has helped me expand my network of workforce management professionals," said Michael Johnson-Maurello, payroll manager for the Art Institute of Chicago. "Those relationships -- and the practice sharing that they foster -- have helped us find new ways to fine-tune our workforce practices." Another strength of Vision is the diversity of perspectives. Practitioners and business executives share the stage with analysts, consultants and WorkForce Software experts throughout the general sessions and dedicated educational tracks. The blend of product education and peer collaboration can yield outstanding results.

Meghan Rees, manager of Scheduling for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, commented, "My team and I had a great experience at Vision 2013. It provided an excellent forum for learning about upcoming feature releases, which helped us to better plan for our own system improvements. In addition, there were many opportunities to connect with other EmpCenter users and share best practices, enabling us to make more effective use of EmpCenter. As a result, we've been able to take fuller advantage of existing and new system features and drive significant improvements in our scheduling processes in the months following the conference. We're looking forward to learning even more at Vision 2015." "Workforce management practices directly shape the employee experience, are a centerpiece of regulatory compliance and risk management, and, when done right, can measurably improve business performance," said Kevin Choksi, WorkForce Software's CEO and co- founder. "These are tremendous opportunities for today's business leaders and aspiring managers, and Vision 2015 is the best forum for working towards those goals. We look forward to hosting hundreds of current and prospective clients, as well as our valued partners, in Henderson next April." "Many employers are just starting to appreciate the potential of modern workforce management, an area that has seen fantastic interest in recent years -- interest we see continuing in the years to come," stated Mollie Lombardi, vice president, principal analyst, Workforce Management at Brandon Hall Group. "Workforce management encompasses both the ability to deploy the workforce to execute organizational strategy, and the tools to measure the impact of that strategy. Organizations need to understand how to not only deploy tools and technology, but intersect them with the right strategies and processes to deliver real business value, and Vision provides a forum for having those conversations."
