White Electronic Designs awarded order for secure Anti-Tamper technology

White Electronic Designs Corporation (Nasdaq: WEDC), a designer and
manufacturer of high technology components, systems, and branded
products, announced on Tuesday (11 September) that the company's
Microelectronics Segment has received a new order totalling
approximately USD7.9m for the company's products featuring its
Anti-Tamper (AT) technology processes.

The company said that this order involves the manufacture of
System-in-Package (SiP) products utilised in military platforms.

The products are expected to be shipped in fiscal year 2008.

This new order award reportedly brings the company's year-to-date
bookings in Anti-Tamper process technology to approximately USD14.0m.

Details of the customer were not available.
