When stay at home becomes a win-win

Feb 14, 2012 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Some companies have found that allowing employees to work from home has been very successful. Insurance company, Suncorp, targeted skilled employees that wanted flexibility when recruiting for its commercial claims division. It has found that worker productivity has significantly increased. Employee Susan Dunlop said that her saving in time and cost is an incentive to work harder. The strategy also provides savings in office space and business continuity. Westpac Banking and Woolworths have also experienced productivity improvements with flexible work conditions.
