Voxox Increases Focus on Customer Service and User Experience with Two VP Promotions

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)--

Voxox®, the most comprehensive cloud-based rich communication service for consumers and businesses, today announced that the company has further deepened its focus on the areas of customer service and user experience by promoting two team members to VP positions to lead and oversee growth in these departments. Chris Meyer, former director of user experience at Voxox, has been promoted to vice president of user experience. Tim Schuh, former director of customer experience, has been promoted to vice president of customer experience. In addition to these promotions, Voxox will be dedicating more resources to augmenting its customer service and user experience programs across its consumer application and small and medium-sized business (SMB) and enterprise offerings.

"Customer interactions and perceptions are incredibly important to us," said Bryan Hertz, co-founder and CEO of Voxox. "Chris and Tim already understand the Voxox vision and have worked diligently to improve our customer interactions overall from both a user experience and customer service perspective. We are thrilled that they have accepted the challenges that come with their promotions and look forward to seeing even greater successes in these areas."

Chris Meyer has 17 years of experience designing and marketing applications ranging from video, music, communications and social media. Prior to joining Voxox in 2013 as director of user experience, Meyer was the multiple-award-winning director of creative and user experience at Sorenson Media. He also held various positions at Eyespo.com, Palm Tree Technology, Gizmo5 Technologies, Inc., and MP3.com/Vivendi (News - Alert) Universal. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor's degree in fine arts.

"I'm thrilled to bring User Experience leadership to Voxox," said Meyer. "I feel like we've established a strong interactive design process this year, including HTML5 prototyping, user centric analytics and material design style frameworks. I'm looking forward to releasing beautiful, interconnected applications that solve complex telecommunication problems in simple, intuitive interfaces."

Tim Schuh spent 16 years at Mitchell International, a provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the Property & Casualty claims and collision repair industries. Throughout his tenure, he held various titles, ultimately departing as the company's director of IT service and operations to start his own consultancy. Schuh then joined Voxox in 2013 as director of technical customer services. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science from Coleman College.

"After a little more than a year at Voxox, I have come to see just how enthusiastic our customers are about our products," said Schuh. "Our job is to ensure that every interaction that we have with customers is positive and that includes when there is a problem. In this role as vice president of customer experience, I plan to continue to introduce new strategies and tactics to emulate the high level of service that we provide to our customers."

Meyer and Schuh are based in the Voxox San Diego headquarters and will both be growing their teams over the months ahead. To learn more about career opportunities at Voxox, please visit http://www.voxox.com/jobs.
