Voip-Pal's Digifonica Gets Approached for Acquisition TalksJan 17, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Voip-Pal.com's newly acquired subsidiary, Digifonica (International) Limited has been approached by several interested parties representing Fortune 500 companies who are interested in acquiring Voip-Pal/Digifonica patent applications and patents, once the patents have been issued. According to a release, these early stage discussions are in the verbal stages. Details of these talks cannot be disclosed nor the outcome of them can be determined at this time. Voip-Pal said its recently launched new retail website, PlatinumPhone.Com, is based upon proprietary VoIP softswitch platform acquired from Digifonica and is part of intellectual properties owned by Voip-Pal and not a licensed softswitch system. Voip-Pal Engineers have upgraded and updated PlatinumPhone.Com's proprietary softswitch system to be compatible to smartphone technology and apps.
