Vizrt signs a USD 550k broadcast graphics and MAM deal with a Western European content owner(Cision Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Bergen, Norway, September 30, 2014, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ) Vizrt Ltd. announced today a deal worth USD 550,000 for the implementation of broadcast graphics and media asset management (MAM) products with a sports content owner in Western Europe. The customer required a solution that combined graphics and video in a single workflow. Martin Burkhalter, CEO of Vizrt, stated: “This deal shows how our product offering fits the needs of a wide range of content owners which is not limited to broadcasters. Vizrt’s offering is helping content owners to enrich their storytelling and to increase the economic value of their content, while achieving operational efficiencies.” The deal includes the Viz One MAM system that will allow the customer to manage video content from any desktop, and integrates with the customers current editing system. Viz Pilot, Vizrt’s graphics content management and control system, is also included. Viz Pilot lets producers edit graphics templates in their newsroom control system (NRCS) allowing them to build complex graphics easily. The graphics become part of a playlist that is triggered live on air in the control room using Viz Trio, Vizrt’s character generator (CG).
