Vishay Intertechnology Supplies MIL-PRF-39006/33-Qualified Wet Tantalum Capacitor [Professional Services Close - Up]

(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Vishay Intertechnology reported the release of a new tantalum- cased, hermetically sealed wet tantalum capacitor that is a qualified to the MIL-PRF-39006/33 specification.

According to a release from the company, the M39006/33 (Style CLR93) offers established reliability for critical avionics and aerospace systems.

Offered in the axial T4 case size, the company said the Vishay Sprague device released features a voltage range from 50 V to 100 V, high capacitance from 220 F to 680 F, capacitance tolerance of 10 percent and 20 percent standard, and maximum ripple current of 2750 mA.

The M39006/33 operates over a temperature range of -55 degrees C to +85 degrees C, to +125 degrees C with voltage derating.

The capacitor combines its high capacitance and established reliability with reverse voltage, vibration, and thermal shock performance.

Vishay Intertechnology is a company focusing on manufacturing discrete semiconductors.
