Verizon's FiOS TV service set to enter Bedford, New York

Nov 26, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) has been authorised to offer its FiOS TV service to the town of Bedford in Westchester county, New York.

Verizon said on Wednesday that the addition of the Bedford cable television franchise brings to 169 the total number of New York municipalities that have authorized Verizon to provide FiOS TV service.

Verizon's FiOS TV service is delivered over the most advanced fibre-optic network straight to customers' homes.



Verizon Communications is a US provider of broadband and other wireless and wireline communications services.
