Verint Expands Fraud, Risk and Compliance Solutions with Advanced Case Management Integration

ATLANTA & MELVILLE, N.Y. --(Business Wire)--

Verint® Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) today announced that its Verint EdgeVR® solution is being integrated with D3 Security's Investigation Case Management Software and Guard Tour System. With this new partnership, the company is furthering its fraud, risk and compliance capabilities to help banks and credit unions meet their security and operational objectives.

More than ever, financial organizations are impacted by crimes, such as data breaches and fraud. By integrating Verint (News - Alert) and D3 case management technology, investigators can achieve faster workflow for mitigating risk, enhance internal information sharing between law enforcement and other industry organizations, and help ensure better use of limited resources, such as budget and personnel. Close integration of the technologies can help increase system usability and reliability through platforms that are optimized to work in conjunction with each other.

"The partnership between Verint and D3 is combining the power of video evidence with the valuable and relevant data integrated in the case management system to enable the best possible outcome for businesses that need to make the most of their security investment," says Steve Weller, senior vice president and general manager, Verint Video and Situation Intelligence Solutions. "Every day, financial institutions face increased fraud and crime, and Verint is eager to help them counter such attacks with advanced security and fraud prevention solutions."

Verint EdgeVR is used by leading banks throughout the world, with tens of thusands of systems installed. With its data integration to the teller, ATM, face recognition and license plate recognition, it provides an optimal starting point for investigations. Once suspect activity is identified, the D3 Investigation Case Management Software opens the case and automatically populates the video and data from the Verint EdgeVR. This web-based solution is ideal for consolidating evidence and analyzing data. The software is designed to efficiently manage multiple referral sources, streamline task assignments and give investigators and managers the tools needed to increase the effectiveness of investigations, track efficiency and achieve constant resolution across the organization.

The power of Verint EdgeVR video evidence paired with the D3 Security case management system can help improve the time invested in every investigation, and quickly and accurately determine relationships surrounding fraud and fraud prevention.

"We're pleased to partner with Verint and provide our customers with industry-leading surveillance technology integrated with our case management software to help ensure they have the best possible protection for customers," adds Gordon Benoit, president, D3 Security. "This partnership and the associated technologies have broad implications for the financial industry with their ability to help protect institutions from breaches and fraud, and address incidents quickly and efficiently."

Verint will showcase its enhanced EdgeVR solution, along with other award-winning technologies, at the ASIS International 60th Annual Seminar and Exhibits taking place this week, September 29 through October 2, in Atlanta. To learn more, visit Verint booth #2727 or www.verint.com/asis2014.
