VCA Animal Hospitals Offers Free Boarding for Pets Affected by Wildfires in the Santa Cruz MountainsVCA Animal Hospitals announced that select Northern California VCA hospitals are offering free boarding assistance for small animals, including dogs, cats, birds and pocket pets, to families who are impacted by the wildfires burning in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The blaze, about 30 miles south of San Jose, has forced hundreds of residents to evacuate.
