Valencell Releases Educational Video Series for International CTIA WIRELESS® 2012

RALEIGH, N.C. --(Business Wire)--

Valencell (News - Alert), an innovator in mobile fitness technology that integrates into audio headsets and earbuds, today announced it will release a series of educational videos for the International CTIA WIRELESS 2012, May 8-10, 2012 in New Orleans. CTIA (News - Alert) Shows bring together all industries advanced by wireless technology for intense business, learning and networking.

Vallencell's V-LINC™ fitness sensor technology, which captures meaningful and actionable fitness data such as heart rate, calories burned, steps taken, speed and cardiovascular fitness (VO2max), is also a finalist in CTIA's Emerging Technology Awards competition (healthcare and wellness category).

The series of 12 videos, posted on Valencell's YouTube channel, provides potential licensees and industry partners (such as mobile device and headset manufacturers) with answers to frequently asked questions. Valencell's turnkey licensing package, which includes a sensor design, a digital signal processor (DSP) chip loaded with biometric firmware, and an application programming interface (API), is detailed at length. Other topics include mobile platform availability, insight into how the sensor works and why Valencell's technology is different from other technologies currently in the marketplace.

"Our studies show consumers want more information about their overall health and fitness level during exercise," said Dr. Steven LeBoeuf, CEO and co-founder of Valencell. "Our sensor technology leverages the natural physiology of the ear to track real-time biometric data that can be streamed to virtually any device."

To request a demo of Valencell's technology, learn more about licensing opportunities or schedule a meeting with CEO Dr. Steven LeBoeuf during CTIA, please email info@valencell.com.
