Utility to Launch New CORE Vehicle Server

Utility, the industry leader in Critical Connectivity and Mobile Video for First Responders, will launch a new device - the CORE vehicle server - that combines Utility's 4G LTE (News - Alert) wireless router technology with solid-state storage and digital ports for telemetry and accessories, including HD IP digital video cameras.

The CORE will debut on October 26, 2014, at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference at booth 759.

The CORE combines, into one unit, HD digital IP video recording capabilities, 120GB of solid-state storage, Bluetooth, ZigBee (News - Alert) and additional Ethernet and digital I/O ports with Utility's proven 4G LTE wireless router technology used in the company's Rocket^® vehicle router product.

Additionally, the CORE integrates automatically with Utility's new Ultimate Witness Generation 2 BodyWorn^TM camera - allowing for BodyWorn cameras to start recording automatically when the CORE video recording is triggered by the siren, lightbar or other automatic recording triggers.

Utility Dell (News - Alert) Partnership

Earlier this week, Utility announced it has entered into a partnership with Dell for Rugged Mobility solutions. Dell will sell Utility's cloud-based AVaiL Web Mobile IoT software as a service, as well as the new CORE vehicle server, Rocket wireless router, and Ultimate Witness Generation 2 BodyWorn camera products.
