BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. ("TOMI") (OTCBB:TOMZ), a global
bacteria decontamination and infectious disease control company,
announced that its SteraMist activated hydrogen peroxide technology has
been utilized in clean-up efforts in connection with Hurricane Sandy.
Within hours following Hurricane Sandy flooding communities across
several mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states, and with particularly
severe damage to the coastline of New Jersey and New York, Rolyn, a
nationwide property disaster recovery and restoration services company
and a TOMI alliance partner, deployed equipment, manpower and Emergency
Response Command Centers to various locations in New York, New Jersey,
and the Washington Metropolitan area.
Rolyn's indoor air remediation and sterilization services utilized
TOMI's SteraMist product in New York and New Jersey to decontaminate
black water situations as a result of the flooding. In addition, Rolyn
is also servicing other commercial, multi-family, healthcare, and
countless residential clients to help restore damage efficiently and
quickly. Rolyn relies on start-of-the-art technology to offer their
clients the best solutions available. SteraMist technology was developed
by L-3 Communications (News - Alert) (NYSE:LLL). When describing the SteraMist product,
the Rolyn website reports, "SteraMist deactivates organic compounds and
quickly and effectively kills viruses, bacteria, spores, mold, and fungi
in the air and on surfaces. This fas-acting biological disinfection
leaves no residue or noxious fumes and is environmentally friendly."
