US Signal Announces Major, Metro Market Expansion to Milwaukee; Lights Northbrook and La Grange, Illinois Network Nodes


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Jan. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- US Signal, a leading provider of data bandwidth capacity in the Midwest to enterprise and carrier customers today announced its plans to expand its fiber optic network to include seven additional on/off ramps in metro Milwaukee, Wisconsin by January 31st of this year.



US Signal's network deployment includes an 81 mile fiber SONET ring extending around Milwaukee powered by the Cisco 15454 optical platform. Network access points are as follows:

US Signal also lit two new access points in Illinois at La Grange (LGRCILLG) and Northbrook (NBRKILNT). Both access points were added to its protected DWDM fiber routes already serving the Illinois/Chicago markets.
