US aims for high-speed internet

Mar 14, 2010 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- On 16 March 2010, the US Congress will hear of a 10-year plan to establish high-speed internet throughout the country. This will generate considerable debate in telecommunications and broadcasting, and a forecast change of focus for the Federal Communications Commission. The plan underpins many healthcare and education initiatives. Originally published in "The New York Times".
