United States : RENASANT announces expansion of data center operations [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Renasant Bank s parent, Renasant Corp. has over doubled its size in the past decade, and with that growth has come the need to grow its back-office functions as well. Renasant, through its Technology Center on West Jackson Street bursting at the seams, has acquired the former Great Homes Design Center on McCullough Boulevard to bolster its operations. John Oxford, Renasant's vice president of external affairs, commented "Over the past 10 years, Renasant has grown from a Mississippi-only $2.2 billion bank with 58 locations into a $5.8 billion multi-state bank, insurance and financial services company with 124 locations. With this growth in location and asset size, as well as rapidly shifting banking technology, we needed to add room for bank record retention as well as room to support anticipated future growth needs." The building Renasant is renovating includes about 37,000 square feet, which cover 25,000 square feet in warehouse space and 12,000 square feet in office space. "This expansion allows us to take advantage of our existing West Jackson campus by expanding our data center and our disaster recovery abilities, provide more room for storage and record retention, and provide space for future growth," Oxford added.
