UNITED KINGDOM : Corero revenues triples in 2011 [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Corero,London listed, Security software provider has more than tripled its revenues of around £11 million for 2011, which is increased from £3 million as it was in in 2010, citing UK schools as a major growth market.


The groupâ s chief operating officer, Andrew Miller, said he expects strong growth in 2012 as cyber crime multiplies. â The education sector in the UK offers Corero an excellent opportunity for growth,â he added, â particularly in light of the continuing trend for schools in England to convert to academies.â Revenues rose to $12 million (£7.6 million), up from $11.7 million the previous year at Corero Network Systems, acquired in March 2011.Corero Business Systems, management 's software arm, saw sales orders of £5.1 million, an increase of 50% on the previous year. In the year 2011, it won contracts from 192 academies .
