Unisource Worldwide, Inc. Sells Florida Manufacturing Facility

NORCROSS, Ga. --(Business Wire)-- March 6, 2006 -- Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading distributors of paper, packaging and facility supplies in North America, announced today it has reached an agreement to sell its converting and manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, FL, to Cardinal UniJax, LLC. In addition to converting envelopes, the facility also manufactures plastic straws.



"The sale of this facility is consistent with our strategy to focus on our core distribution businesses in paper, facility supplies and packaging," said Al Dragone, CEO of Unisource Worldwide, Inc.

The transaction was completed on Friday, March 3. The terms of the agreement were not announced.
