ICOP LIVE(TM) "On Premises" Installed in U.S. and Abroad LENEXA, KS, -- ICOP Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ:ICOP), an industry-leading company engaged in advancing digital surveillance technology solutions, today announced that the first installations of "on-premises" (self-hosted) versions of ICOP LIVE(TM) in the U.S. and abroad have been successfully completed (following installations of ICOP-hosted versions of ICOP LIVE), thereby showing the flexibility in their live streaming product.
The Company was notified by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in December 2009 that they were allowed a patent for the system and method used by ICOP LIVE.
ICOP LIVE delivers live streaming audio and video to and from a first responder vehicle over wireless networks, including cellular networks, mesh networks, etc. For example, ICOP LIVE can stream video/audio from the ICOP Model 20/20-W to police headquarters, personnel on the scene, and to web-enabled mobile devices, such as smart phones and PDAs in the field.
An "on-premises" (self-hosted) installation of ICOP LIVE allows an agency to install and maintain the product on their own server equipment, totally managing the video/audio streams internally at the agency. Alternatively, ICOP also offers agencies the option for an ICOP-hosted ICOP LIVE product, in which ICOP manages the entire live streaming product, servers, and video/audio streams.
