UK Government: Announcement of the appointment of Non-Executive Directors of the Personal Accounts Delivery Authority

The personal accounts delivery authority today announced the
appointment of Alison Wright, Paul Hewitt and Chris Willford to its
Board as non-executive directors. Each of them will take an interest in
a particular area of the personal accounts delivery authority's work.
Alison will focus on marketing, advertising and brand building,
particularly customer insight and scheme marketing, Paul will have as a
focus operational delivery and Chris will deal with financial
management, including control.

Alison Wright Alison's career history includes time as Chief Marketing
Officer of Egg, Prudential UK and Citibank's UK Consumer business. In
these roles she has been responsible for brand management, customer
experience, research and data, advertising, direct marketing and
e-business. She has also held senior positions in a number of
advertising agencies, advising, among others, Abbey, The AA and
Alliance & Leicester on their marketing communications.

Paul Hewitt Paul was the Deputy Group Chief Executive for the
Co-operative Group.

He holds non-executive posts as Director and Chairman of the Audit
Committee of RJ Kiln Limited, a wholesale insurer, Director of
Co-operative Financial Services and Chairman of YSC Limited, a leading
psychology-based HR consultancy.

Chris Willford Chris is Group Finance Director for Bradford and Bingley
plc where he is responsible for all aspects of financial management, as
well as compliance, risk, audit, legal and company secretariat
functions.

This will be Alison and Chris's first appointments as non-executive
directors.

As a result of these appointments the delivery authority's board now
numbers six. The existing members are Paul Myners (Chair), Tim Jones
(Chief Executive) and Jeannie Drake (non-executive director).
