UC4 Software acquires Ventum Solutions

Feb 14, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- IT Process Automation software company UC4 Software announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Ventum Solutions, a provider of enterprise release management software, with international customers in telecommunications, banking and insurance.


Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

UC4 Software said its acquisition of Ventum Solutions will enable it to redefine application release automation with a combination of planning, control and automation.


The company added that its UC4 Application Release Automation is an end-to-end solution for planning, coordinating and automating software releases, which streamlines application release workflow management. Ventum's release management software is integrated with UC4's solution and includes capabilities such as: application and component modeling; test environment scheduling; centralised approval process; and resource conflict identification. UC4 is currently developing tighter integration.
