Top 5 Companies in the Investment Banking & Brokerage Industry With the Highest Return on Equity (LAZ, AMTD, INTL, SCHW, RJF)

Feb 14, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Investment Banking & Brokerage industry with the highest return on equity. The ROE is a general indication of the company's efficiency; investors usually look for companies with ROEs that are high and are growing.Lazard ranks highest with a ROE of 44.3%. Following is TD Ameritrade Holding with a ROE of 15.8%. INTL FCStone ranks third highest with a ROE of 13.9%.


Charles Schwab follows with a ROE of 12.0%, and Raymond James Financial rounds out the top five with a ROE of 11.3%.
