TokBox Appoints Nick Triantos as CEO

(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
TokBox, a web-based video communication product providing the ability
to make a video call for free, announced the appointment of Nick
Triantos to CEO and board member.

In his role as CEO, Triantos is responsible for expanding the company's
executive team and setting the company's strategic and operational
goals.

"Nick's background in software engineering and technology start-ups
makes him the ideal person to lead TokBox as the company sets out to
revolutionize the video communication experience," said Roelof Botha,
General Partner at Sequoia Capital and Board Director at TokBox. "I'm
confident that Nick's insight and drive will propel TokBox as the
primary video calling and messaging service of choice worldwide, and we
are very excited to have him as a part of our team."

Nick joined TokBox as VP of Engineering in Fall of 2007. Prior to
joining TokBox, Nick was a Partner at Quantum Technology Partners, a
technology-focused venture capital firm. Before that, Nick spent 8
years in software engineering and engineering management roles at
Nvidia, where he helped grow the company from fewer than 50 people to
more than 3,500. Nick also previously worked as a software engineer at
Navio Communications, The 3DO Company, and Apple Computer. He has been
actively involved in startups since the mid-90s as an engineer, and as

an investor since 2004.

TokBox is a free, web-based video communication service that requires
no download, no registration and no configurations -- all that is
needed is an internet connection and a webcam. Aside from live video
calling TokBox also enables users to conduct video conference calls
with multiple users and leave video messages to anyone with an email
address. In addition, TokBox provides users the tools to add a video
communication element to their blog, social networking or commerce and
community sites profile by embedding TokBox directly into the page.
