TOC Europe 2015: Navis and XVELA to Present on Terminal Automation, Port Performance & ProductivityFrom June 9-11, 2015, leading marine container terminal executives and supply chain experts will gather in Rotterdam to discuss top challenges and opportunities facing the shipping industry at this year's TOC Europe. Next Steps in Terminal Automation (June 10, 1:00 PM) Dr. Oscar Pernia will present in a session focusing on the theme of converting existing manned facilities to automated operations without diminishing service to shipping lines, trucks and trains. 4. The Information Equation: Digitizing Container Operations (June 11, 10:30 AM) During this session, Oscar Pernia and Christopher Mazza will discuss carrier-terminal collaboration and how to harness emerging technologies to drive holistic optimization and network value across the vessel voyage.
