TNS FusionPoint Solution Based on Cisco Equipment; Provides Cost Savings to Customers in C-Store and QSR Markets; Transaction Network Services Adds New Cisco Powered Network Service Designation Targeted at the Retail Industry
RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- Dec. 13, 2005 -- Transaction Network Services, Inc. (NYSE:TNS), a leading network and data communications provider for transaction-oriented applications, announced today that it has earned the Cisco Powered Network Designation for its FusionPoint by TNS solution. The service, targeted to the convenience store and quick service restaurant (QSR) industries, is based on Cisco technology end-to-end.
TNS' continued participation in the Cisco Powered Network program demonstrates its commitment to providing industry-leading services based on Cisco solutions. TNS also benefits from its Cisco Powered Network designation through joint marketing and technology sharing with Cisco.
