sellers rankings for the week ending August 23, 2008.
TOP 20 OVERALL
SELLERS
On August 21, IAC/InterActiveCorp completed its spin-off of
its TicketMaster division, and the ticketing giant's stock began
selling on Nasdaq under the symbol "TKTM." The stock was initially trading
at $23.55 on volume of more than 2.43 million shares. IAC
first announced its intention to spin off Ticketmaster as well as other
assets in early November, only a couple of months after its largest client,
Live Nation, said it would start its own ticketing operation when their
contract expires at the end of the year. Despite the loss of Live Nation,
company officials have stated they are positioned to offset the potential
loses.
Over the past week, TicketMaster maintained its stranglehold over the
ticket market with a power score of 42.40. Overall the top nine positions
stayed the same from last week, with StubHub and TicketsNow finishing
second and third, respectively.

SECONDARY SELLERS
StubHub extended its lead as the top seller on the secondary market with a
power score of 30.23, nearly a nine point advantage over the second place
TicketsNow. TicketsNow came in with a power score of 21.91, well ahead of
the third place seller, TicketLiquidator.

Spots one through seven remained the same for this week, with TicketMaster
continuing its reign as the top primary seller. The biggest movement came
from TicketsWest which jumped up two spots from ten to eight with a power
score of 0.72.
