Tianjin: China's Largest Electrodynamic Vehicle Production Base
(SinoCast Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)BEIJING, Apr 17, 2006 (SinoCast via COMTEX) --During 2006-2010, Tianjin aims at developing eletrodynamic vehicles, electric controlled conjugate diesel engines and economical low-emission cars and China's largest eletrodynamic vehicle production base will be built in Tianjin.
In the future five years, Tianjin City strives to make diesel-powered sedans, which fuel gasoline before, to manufacture diesel engines and to realize electrodynamic vehicle industrialization and it tries to be the first to realize industrialization of electrodynamic vehicles, hybrid vehicles and dynamic battery production. Until 2010, the annual output of pure elctrodynamic vehicles, hybrid vehicles will reach 30,000-50,000 units; fuel cell vehicles and the new gasolineengines of 1L-1.5L are expected to come into existence.
Additionally, Tianjin also aims to develop new low-emission diesel engine and its electric controlled fuel oil system with electric controlled conjugate fuel oil system, to make diesel-powered gasoline engine, and to build a sedan's diesel engine production base of annual output 100,000. Until 2020, the annual output of electric controlled conjugate fuel oil system will reach 500,000-1million units, and the annual output of advanced diesel engines stand at 300,000-400,000 units.
By then, Tianjin will have become the vehicle development and production center of electrodynamic vehicles, hybrid vehicles and fuel cell-powered vehicles.
