tel(x) Hires Executive Vice President of Sales
NEW YORK, May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The tel(x) Group announces a new addition to the management team: Bill Kolman, as Executive Vice President of Sales. Kolman joins tel(x) from SAVVIS, a provider of managed hosting, utility computing and network services where he was the Vice President of Strategic Accounts in the Northeast. Kolman brings over 31 years of experience working in the Hosting/Network/Telecommunications industries in both public and startup companies.

With this appointment, tel(x) is continuing to position itself as the leading neutral colocation and interconnect specialist provider. Kolman's experience will help position tel(x) as the leader in solving interconnectivity problems plagued by large businesses. Kolman brings extensive experience to the company. Prior to SAVVIS, he was an officer of AT&T responsible for large global accounts in the Northeast and was a sector head for Concert, the AT&T and BT joint partnership. During the 1990's, Kolman ran Nortel Networks' organization in New York City and managed multiple markets for Sprint. Prior to Sprint, Kolman was a founder of Tri-State Telephone in Elmsford, NY, marketing customer premise based communications systems.
