'Telefonica unveils mobile betting service for Xmas lottery'

Telefonica has launched a new mobile betting service for Movistar
postpaid users. Customers can acquire EUR 2 tickets for the Christmas
lottery directly from their mobile phone. The service is available
until 18 December. Users can acquire mobile lottery tickets by sending
an SMS with the word 'Navidad' (Christmas' to the 8666 short number.
After sending the message, users will automatically receive a
confirmation message with a lottery number. This number is chosen at
random, and will later be used later by the recipient to collect the


prize. The service is provided via mobile and internet betting services
provider Lotojuegos.
