Telefónica Digital Appoints Pam Kline Smith and Access Communications to Drive North American Communications
SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--
Telefónica (News - Alert) Digital today announced it has appointed Pamela Kline Smith
as Head of Communications for North America. The company also named
Access Communications as its agency of record for North America.
Ms. Smith joins the company from Teleperformance (News - Alert), the world's largest
call centeroutsourcer, where she was CMO and EVP, Marketing. Prior to
this she held a number of marketing roles in Silicon Valley-based
companies, including Cisco Systems (News - Alert), LiveOps, Metreo, Arcot Systems and
Regis McKenna Inc.
Access Communications will report to Ms. Smith and help lead the effort
to raise the profile of Telefónica Digital in the United States,
particularly in Silicon Valley whereTelefónica Digital's office is home
to its Venture Capital and Global Partnerships teams. Telefónica Digital
has been ramping up its investment activities in recent months with
strategic investments made in cloud computing specialist, Joyent, and
mobile payments experts, Boku.
