'Tele2 wins telephony, data deal from IFS'

(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Tele2 has won a contract to provide telephony and data services to Swedish social security authority IFS. The contract was signed as part of Tele2's framework agreement with the Swedish government. IFS started as new agency on 1 July. Tele2 will deploy its OnePhone service for IFS, deploying a small GSM network in the IFS offices, while user can use their mobile phones on Tele2's GSM/UMTS network outside the offices. At the same time Tele2 deploys an IP port, LAN and firewall. The contract is valued at SEK 1.44 million.
